Extensive Field Testing

Extensive field testing on STEADY VISION has made it a proven performer. The first prototype was taken on a trek up Mount Kilimanjaro in Africa. The design proved robust and ideal for hooking on to backpacks, protecting the camera from damage and maximising its accessibility at all times. The STEADY VISION unit was used throughout the trek to obtain award winning, documentary style footage.

STEADY VISION has also been used to obtain footage for a wildlife documentary in the Antarctic, where it again proved its usefulness in difficult filming conditions.

As camera technology continues to evolve and their dimensions become smaller and lighter, STEADY VISION will provide videographers and photographers with the support and stability they need. STEADY VISION can be carried over the shoulder, using the durable and comfortable control strap, so the camera is ready for action at all times.

For Those Who Travel

STEADY VISION is designed to be dismantled to allow for ease of transport. The parts can easily be fitted in a standard size backpack or camera bag.

STEADY VISION can be accessorised to meet your needs, with a choice of Monopod heads and accessories, such as lights, micrphones. These accessories are available, to maximise the capabilities and performance of STEADY VISION and your filmmaking outcomes. STEADY VISION will continue to adapt and expand, to suit changing camera designs and filmmaker needs. Indeed, STEADY VISION 2 (SV2), designed to cater for larger style cameras such as the Sony HVR-Z1, has been planned and is currently in development.
