Nokia seems to be appealing towards its budget audience around the world. Especially in India, we saw the earlier budget QWERTY phone, the X2-01. Now, the Finland-based mobile giant has announced through their blog, the X1-00 music phone which also comes in the generation of the X-series handsets.
Colourful music anyone?
For one, the X1-00 definitely looks quite attractive with the vibrant colours and a cool, snazzy design. The phone runs on a Nokia Series 30 OS and boasts of the following specifications:
- 1.8-inch display
- Memory expandable up to 16 GB
- FM Radio
- 3.5 mm audio jack
There’s no word about the connectivity options, but it’s quite possible for the X1-00 to be loaded with Bluetooth and GPRS – these being the basic features most phones have nowadays. If you noticed, the specs don’t mention of a camera and that’s because the phone doesn’t have one! The X1-00 also has an LED torch as a feature.
Anyways, the phone is globally priced less than €35 (approx Rs. 2,125) and is expected to hit stores next month. Stay tuned for a review of the X1-00.
