  2. “The Next Three Days.” Walking the line between taunt crime movie and the ultimate romance is why this is one of the top ten crime movies of 2010. When his wife is convicted of a murder a love lorn husband decides to break his lady love out of prison.
  3. “Machete.” A must see for anyone who is a fan of the "Grindhouse" films, this is one of the top ten crime movies of 2010 and stars Danny Trejo as a former cop who is out to seek revenge on a cartel kingpin that tried to have him killed.
  4. “A Somewhat Gentle Man.” This movie made this list of the top ten crime movies of 2010 because it is sweet and sinister. A newly released murderer has to deal with gang, his ex, his son and the disapproving family of his future daughter-in-law. With his sanity hanging on by a thread, it won’t belong before he reverts back to his murderous ways.
  5. “The Town." Say what you will about Ben Affleck as an actor, this is one of the top ten crime movies of 2010 and proves that he is great director. The story of a bank robber who falls in love with a woman who was a victim during his last heist, this movie is an action packed ride that will have you at the edge of your seat.
  6. “Stone.” Starring  Ed Norton and Robert De Niro is one of many reasons that this movie makes the list of the top ten crime movies of 2010. Convicted of more arsons than you can shake a hose at, Ed Norton plays a arsonist who uses his wife to get out early.
  7. “Sin Nombre.” While it was originally released in Mexico in 2009, this is one of the top ten crime movies of 2010. It didn’t see a release date in the united States until 2010, but this tale of a young woman's adventures with human trafficking is as horrific as it is sad and heart breaking.
  8. “Kick Ass.” One of the few comedies to make the list of the top ten crime movies of 2010, this story is about a group of nobodies who decide to become super heroes and take on the city’s biggest crime boss.
  9. “Edge of Darkness.” This is one of the top ten crime movies of 2010 and shows that Mel Gibson still has the acting chops, no matter how crazy he may be. In this film he plays a hardened cop out to find his daughter's murder and expose a corporate conspiracy.
  10. “You Don’t Know Jack.” This biopic on the life and times of assisted suicide doctor Jack Kevorkian is the only made for TV movie to make it on this list of the top ten crime movies of 2010. This movie takes a look at all of the criminal charges that the assisted suicide doctor has racked up over the years and poses the question, should suicide really be a crime?
