The company also issued 37,17,000-12% FCD's-part `B' Rs.60 per debentures in August which can be converted into equity shares of Rs.10 each at premium of Rs.50 per share on August 1996.

Daggubati Rana gets into"Department"- flick of RGV on Police Department

Maverick film maker Ram Gopal Varma has declared that he would work with Rana Daggubati. Varma announced that Rana will be the hero in his upcoming Hindi project 'Department'. RGV had earlier signed Abhishek Bachchan for this film.

But since Abhishek's call sheets are not available, Varma settled down for Rana. The film revolves around politics and Police department. RGV announced 3D film 'Amma', Bejawada Rowdilu et al. Though we are not sure when these films will go on floors and if they will ever be made at all, Varma clarified that 'Department' will happen for sure.

Apart from Rana, RGV has roped in Sanjay Dutt and Ritesh Deshmukh for 'Department'. Since Rana is now well known in Bollywood with his debut film 'Dum Maro Dum', Varma wants to try Rana in this flick. Rana's 'Dum Maro Dum' released in theatres this week and evoked lukewarm response from the audience. Besides, he didn't win critical acclaim for his action.

"Due to date problems to match combination with other actors, I am going ahead with Rana Daggubati, instead of Abhishek Bachchan in 'Department'" Varma announced on social networking site.

The Zodiac Killer

The Zodiac Killer is one of the great unsolved serial killer mysteries of all time, taking only second place to Jack the Ripper.

Even though police investigated over 2,500 potential suspects, the case was never officially solved. There were a few suspects that stood out, but the forensic technology of the times was not advanced enough to nail any one of them conclusively.

This October, 1966 killing began a ghoulish series of murders that panicked the people of the San Francisco area. For years the Zodiac taunted the police with weird ciphers, phone calls, insulting and cryptic messages.

Before it was all over, this clever and diabolical killer changed the lives of eight people, only two of whom lived to tell the tale.

On the night of Sunday, October 30, 1966, long before anyone was to hear of the Zodiac, an 18-year-old student named Cheri Jo Bates was brutally murdered near the parking lot of Riverside City College's library annex. Neither rape nor robbery seemed to have been a motive, as her clothes were undisturbed and her purse was present and intact.

After disabling her lime green Volkswagen by pulling out the distributor coil and the condenser, then disconnecting the middle wire of the distributor, the zodiac killer had apparently waited for Bates to return to her car and try to start it, whereupon he made a pretense of unsuccessfully tinkering with the engine.  

After this ruse, and probably with the offer of a ride, he lured her into a dark, unpaved driveway between two empty houses owned by the college, where they spent approximately an hour and a half.  Exactly what they did during this time is uncertain, but eventually the man attacked her, slashing her three times in the chest area, once in the back, and seven times across the throat.  

Police determined that the murder weapon was a small knife with a blade about 3 1/2" long by 1/2" wide, but the wounds to Bates' throat were so deep and brutal as to nearly decapitate her, severing her larynx, jugular vein, and carotid artery.  She had also been choked, beaten, and slashed about the face. 

Found about ten feet from Bates' body was a paint-spattered man's Timex watch with a broken 7" wristband, stopped at around 12:23 , which one source claims was later traced to a military PX in England.  The paint was analyzed, and was found to be common exterior house paint.  Also found at the scene were the heel-print from a shoe that appeared to be close to size 10, as well as hair, blood, and skin tissue found in the victim's hands and beneath her fingernails. Greasy, unidentified palm and fingerprints were also found in and on her car, about 200 feet away.

Although the library closed at 9:00 p.m. (and books found in her car verify that she had been inside before then), two separate witnesses reported hearing an "awful scream" at around 10:30, followed by "a muted scream, and then a loud sound like an old car being started up" about two minutes later.  This time matches an estimation given by the coroner, and is generally accepted as the time of her death. 

Judging by these details, the murder of Cheri Jo Bates would appear to be nothing more mysterious than a particularly vicious crime of passion, committed perhaps by a spurned suitor, an ex-boyfriend, or a subject somehow linked to Miss Bates. Certainly, the simple fact that Bates spent over an hour in the dark with the man who murdered her suggests that she knew and trusted him enough to converse more than casually.  It was not until almost exactly one month after the attack that the case approached a bizarre new level.

Hollywood is replete with crime thrillers and courtroom dramas, but how many law movies are based on true stories? Here is an alphabetical listing of twelve such movies. Most of them are feature films, with a few made-for-TV movies thrown in.

1. “The Accused.” “The Accused” is a 1988 movie starring Jodie Foster and Kellie McGillis. The film is based on the real-life gang rape of Cheryl Araujo, a resident of New Bedford, Massachusetts, and the female district attorney assigned to the case.

4. “A Civil Action.” “A Civil Action” is a 1998 law movie starring John Travolta. Based on a Jonathan Harr nonfiction book, the film tells the true story of a 1980s legal case involving environmental pollution in Woburn, Massachusetts.
5. “Erin Brockovich.” “Erin Brockovich” is a 2000 feature film starring Julia Roberts. The biographical drama is based on the real-life story of California resident Erin Brockovich, and her legal battle against Pacific Gas and Electric Company (PG&E).
6. “Evelyn.” “Evelyn” is an emotional 2002 drama starring Sophie Vavasseur and Pierce Brosnan. It is loosely based on the true story of Desmond Doyle, and his battle against the Irish courts for custody of his children.
7. “Helter Skelter.” “Helter Skelter” is a 1976 television mini-series based on a nonfiction book by the famous prosecutor Vincent Bugliosi. The movie tells the story of the real-life murders of Sharon Tate and other victims by the Charles Manson Family. 
8. “Monster.” “Monster” is a 2003 crime drama starring Charlize Theron. The story is based on a real-life Florida prostitute, Aileen Wuornos, who was executed in 2002 for killing six men in the 1980s and 1990s.
9. “Nothing But The Truth.” “Nothing But The Truth” is a 2008 movie starring Kate Beckinsale. The fictionalized drama tells the story of Judith Miller, a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist jailed in 2005 for outing a covert CIA agent, Valerie Plame, and refusing to reveal her source.
10. “Video Voyeur.” “Video Voyeur” is a 2002 television drama starring Angie Harmon. It is based on the real-life story of a Louisiana woman named Susan Wilson. When Wilson discovered that her family was being videotaped in their own home by a neighbor, she lobbied for a state law to make video voyeurism a felony.
11. “Walking Tall.” “Walking Tall” is a 1973 crime drama based on the true story of Buford Pusser, a Tennessee sheriff who single-handedly cleaned up on small-town crime and corruption. Joe Don Baker stars in the film.
12. “Zodiac.” “Zodiac” is a 2007 movie based on a Robert Graysmith nonfiction book. It tells the story of a notorious real-life serial killer in the San Francisco Bay area in the 1960s and 1970s. The case is one of the city’s most infamous unsolved crimes. Robert Downey, Jr., and Jake Gyllenhaal star in the film.

The story of a bank robber who falls in love with a woman who was a victim during his last heist, this movie is an action packed ride that will have you at the edge of your seat.
6. “Stone.” Starring  Ed Norton and Robert De Niro is one of many reasons that this movie makes the list of the top ten crime movies of 2010. Convicted of more arsons than you can shake a hose at, Ed Norton plays a arsonist who uses his wife to get out early.
7. “Sin Nombre.” While it was originally released in Mexico in 2009, this is one of the top ten crime movies of 2010. It didn’t see a release date in the united States until 2010, but this tale of a young woman's adventures with human trafficking is as horrific as it is sad and heart breaking.
8. “Kick Ass.” One of the few comedies to make the list of the top ten crime movies of 2010, this story is about a group of nobodies who decide to become super heroes and take on the city’s biggest crime boss.
9. “Edge of Darkness.” This is one of the top ten crime movies of 2010 and shows that Mel Gibson still has the acting chops, no matter how crazy he may be. In this film he plays a hardened cop out to find his daughter's murder and expose a corporate conspiracy.
10. “You Don’t Know Jack.” This biopic on the life and times of assisted suicide doctor Jack Kevorkian is the only made for TV movie to make it on this list of the top ten crime movies of 2010. This movie takes a look at all of the criminal charges that the assisted suicide doctor has racked up over the years and poses the question, should suicide really be a crime?

RIS installation for Windows XP

In order to install Windows XP Professional using the Remote Installation Service, you must install the RIS on a Windows 2000 server (either Server, Advanced Server or Datacenter) using the Remote Installation Services Setup Wizard. The server can be a member server or a domain controller, it doesn't make a difference, however, what must be present on the network in order to use RIS are the following services:

DNS	RIS relies on the DNS service for locating both the directory service and client computer accounts.
DHCP	The DHCP service is required so that client computers that can receive an IP address.
Active Directory	RIS relies on the Active Directory service in for locating the RIS servers.

The shared volume where the RIS data is installed cannot be on the same drive that is running Windows 2000 Server. The volume must be large enough to hold the RIS software and the various Windows XP Professional images that are installed and that volume must be formatted with the NTFS 5 file system.
